One we receive the payment we go right into the custom dieline. It is a blueprint that is used to ensure your design fits appropriately in your box before it is sent to production. The dieline will indicate the positions of folds, and cuts as well as a place where your final product will have edges. Once your order is confirmed in 1-2 business days, we will provide you a dieline file depending on your box style and size. This file will form the basis of your artwork and will assist in the design to ensure it is ready to be produced and formatted in the most perfeclty manner.
When you get your dieline file, you get to apply your art to it. When you design it yourself, make sure that you follow our guidelines on artwork to ensure your design prints clean and accurate. The rules will make sure that the document is properly formatted and can be printed properly. In case you happen to have an in-house design department, it is possible to pass the dieline to them and have it set up in mock-up and layout. Otherwise, we will be glad to assist you. After your design and mock ups are signed off, we jump on to the production. Now it is time to sit back and see us deliver your packaging to life. We will update you on the process on a regular basis with information on printing, finishing, shipping and so on through our production team. Your packaging will be well printed, cut, folded, and verified and then shipped. We keep an eye on the quality at all levels so as to ensure your boxes match our quality promise. This is the last trim line of your packaging. Text and other important pieces of art should remain a minimum of 0.125 inches within this line to avoid cuts.
These are the spots to be perforated of the box. This enables some sections of the box to be folded or tore up when required easily.
The orientation of the crease lines will denote the direction of folding of the box. Do not put any important text or images directly over these areas.
This demonstrates where the safe area to put text or important visuals is. Anything put beyond this space may endanger being cut off by production.
Graphic elements that lie along the borders of your box are to be placed along the bleed line to ensure that the printing follows to the end with no unprinted areas left.
