Making a Custom Dieline

Artwork Setup Guide

Correctly getting your artwork is a step toward ensuring your final boxes are presented well. Feel free to use our artwork instructions below, or just contact us and we will be glad to assist you, as we also provide free design help and mockups to make sure everything is ready to go.

Cut Line (Black Lines):

This is the last trim line of your packaging. Text and other important pieces of art should remain a minimum of 0.125 inches within this line to avoid cuts.

Perforation (Dotted Black Lines):

These are the spots to be perforated of the box. This enables some sections of the box to be folded or tore up when required easily.

Crease Line (Red Lines)

The orientation of the crease lines will denote the direction of folding of the box. Do not put any important text or images directly over these areas.

Safety Margin (Dotted Green Lines):

This demonstrates where the safe area to put text or important visuals is. Anything put beyond this space may endanger being cut off by production.

Bleed Line (Green Lines):

Graphic elements that lie along the borders of your box are to be placed along the bleed line to ensure that the printing follows to the end with no unprinted areas left.
